My Qualifications
Hello! My name is Ryan Harold Weiss. I am a neurodiverse-affirming math tutor and academic coach with experience supporting students with emotional support needs, ADHD, Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), and Autism. My background includes working as a special education assistant with a focus on secondary-level math skills, as well as experience with the MATHCOUNTS program in the North Penn School District.
I hold a B.A. in Criminal Justice from Temple University and an A.A. in Secondary Education from Montgomery County Community College. I specialize in Algebra 1 tutoring and foundational math skill development.
My passion lies in helping students discover their own pathways to understanding math while building confidence, organization, and independence. My background in education and human behavior informs my work with students who benefit from structured instruction, executive-function support, and patient, skills-based coaching.
